Jacqui is originally from Newfoundland and graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI in 1990. She has been working at the Galt Animal Hospital for over 30 years and is the owner of the practice. She lives in Cambridge with her husband, 2 kids, her chocolate lab Whisky and cat Corey. In her free time she enjoys biking, kayaking, paddle boarding and dock diving with Whisky!
Jane was born and raised in a cattle-farming family in Waterloo County. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1985 and from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990. She practised small and large animal medicine briefly in Manitoba before returning to Ontario in 1993. Jane and her Manitoba dog Orly settled back in Guelph, and she eventually concentrated on small animal medicine exclusively. Jane, who is currently petless, is pictured with her late dog Tuffy. In her spare time she plays in a recreational hockey league and enjoys woodworking, movies and cycling.
Laura was born and raised in Oakville ON and graduated Western University with a bachelors and masters degree in Biology. She then pursued her career in veterinary medicine and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2019. Laura now lives in Guelph with her partner Josh, two cats Mustard and Randal and the newest addition Walter the Whippet. In her free time she enjoys riding her horse William, hiking and cooking.
Nicole graduated from the veterinary technician program at Sheridan College in April 2015, became registered in July 2015 and started working at another small animal clinic before joining our team in December 2016. She moved from Burlington to start her life with her husband Zack and two dogs Sky (greyhound) and Cider (English Springer Spaniel). Nicole grew up riding horses but now enjoys agility with Cider and spending time with her family and friends.
Deb, our Receptionist/Office Manager has been efficiently greeting clients for 39 years, looking after any and all of their needs with a genuine smile and the utmost of care and concern. A grand-daughter and her dog Sparky are her major focus and time spent with family in her RV is extremely important as well as.
Rachel was born and raised in Cambridge and attended Conestoga College for business, graduating in 2018. She is now attending Thompson Rivers University to become a registered veterinary technician. She has been working at the clinic for over seven years, first starting as a kennel assistant and is now the practice manager. Rachel has a 4 year old black lab named Remington who loves laying on the couch and will occasionally want to go for a walk. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, golf and spending time with her friends and family.
Cailey graduated from Sheridan College in 2021 and became registered as a Veterinary Technician shortly after. Cailey has worked at the clinic for 3 years as a veterinary assistant/receptionist and now an RVT. In her spare time, she is devoted to running her rescue, Dorset Rescue Kittens. She has rescued and adopted out over 300 cats to loving homes. Cailey enjoys spending time in Muskoka with her rescue dog, rabbits, foster kittens and family.
Jaimie is from a small rural town just outside of Kitchener. She is currently attending Thompson Rivers University to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Jaimie hopes to be a companion animal and large animal RVT! She has two dogs, Brantley and Toby. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with family and friends or spending time with the cows at the dairy farm she works at part time.
